Cary Clark is the Director of Programs and Education at the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), a global medical professional society dedicated to advancing the science and clinical practice of thrombosis and bleeding disorders. Over a 25-year tenure with the organization, Cary has led the full scope of ISTH’s educational programming, encompassing live congresses, regional workshops, e-learning, and professional development initiatives. Cary has built the ISTH’s education portfolio from its earliest stages into a comprehensive, internationally recognized program. 

 

Throughout his career, Cary has championed access to high-quality medical education for clinicians and researchers across all global regions, with particular focus on expanding reach through grant-funded programs and strategic partnerships. Cary has worked closely with scientific committees, governance bodies, and external stakeholders to ensure that ISTH’s educational offerings remain scientifically rigorous, culturally relevant, and practically impactful for a diverse global membership.
