Monica Ghidinelli, PhD is a senior medical education professional with extensive experience in education research, CME/CPD accreditation, and international partnerships within non‑profit medical organizations. She currently serves as Manager of Education Research, Accreditation & Partnerships at the AO Foundation, a medically led, global non‑profit organization dedicated to advancing the care of patients with musculoskeletal disorders. In this role, she leads the strategic direction of education research and accreditation activities, oversees global partnerships, and supports the design, delivery, and evaluation of educational programs aligned with international CME/CPD standards.
With a background in neuroscience research and over a decade of experience spanning academic research, medical education, and organizational leadership, Monica has played a key role in developing and evaluating competency‑based curricula, blended and digital learning programs, and faculty development initiatives for global surgical audiences.
