Eva Hofstädter-Thalmann spent more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry for J&J and Janssen in several commercial and medical affairs leadership positions in Austria, globally out of the US and during the last 20 years with responsibilities for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. She was working in Oncology, Hematology and Virology. During the last years she was focusing externally on the Future of Learning as chair of the EFPIA Working Group in Lifelong Learning in Healthcare aligning the industry on a quality framework in medical education and she is currently President for the Global Alliance of Medical Education (GAME). Eva Hofstädter-Thalmann was a committee member of ESMO’s Women4Oncology publishing on the Leadership of Women in Oncology and chaired the ESMO/Industry group, and she is currently in the Board of Directors for the Journal of European CME (JECME). Eva Hofstädter-Thalmann holds a PhD in biochemistry and is currently starting an independent consultancy in healthcare with a focus on strategic stakeholder management working with the pharmaceutical industry and international medical societies and is the co-founder of Legacy MD International.
