Kirk Terry has been in the medical communications community for 22 years, starting in editorial services at a small agency in Indianapolis. He has worked his way through commercial medical communications agencies through independent medical education and accreditation, both in the United States and in Europe. Kirk has also worked extensively as a director of education in several medical societies, including the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy, the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, and the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

Most recently, he has worked with Liberum IME as the Director of Outcomes and Accreditation, and was based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He also serves as a member of the Membership committee of the Global Academy for Medical Education.

Kirk’s interests in medical education include international educational cooperation, learner generated education, and educating the multidisciplinary team. He is a member of several societies in the field, including AMEE and ACEHP, as well as the American Society of Association Executives. He is a strong believer in tikkun olam, or making the world more just, peaceful, tolerant, and equal, through acts of charity, and kindness.
