My role also involves maintaining a comprehensive database of physicians in training, monitoring their performance, and supervising cases referred to the Counselling and Guidance section. Moreover, I am responsible for preparing and implementing the department’s five-year development plan, strategic plan, quality assurance, and annual performance reports.

Through effective leadership and guidance, I strive to improve workflow in the Trainee Affairs Department and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

The Global Alliance for Medical Education provides a platform for expanding my knowledge in medical education as well as networking with educators globally. I value the opportunities for exchange of ideas and collaboration with the aim of improved healthcare. I am passionate about leadership in medical education and work hard to serve my country by utilizing evidence-based practice and methods to affect meaningful change in healthcare provision.

Having a clear vision of the area in which one would like to contribute to the workplace will help in determining the direction to take. Supporting one’s interest and enthusiasm with knowledge and education, possibly a Master’s degree, provides a solid staring point from which one can grow in the field. Research projects, be they simple database analytics, quality audits or others will further their contribution to the field.
